Spacebackend Signs First Commercial Deal with Infinite Orbits to Streamline Satellite Software Integration

A three-year agreement will see Infinite Orbits deploy Spacebackend's Lynapse platform to cut satellite hardware-software integration from months to days.

Luxembourg, June 2026. DeepTech system integration company Spacebackend has signed its first commercial contract with Infinite Orbits, a satellite operations and services provider with a strong strategic footprint in Luxembourg. Under the three-year agreement, Infinite Orbits will deploy Spacebackend's Lynapse Studio to accelerate satellite hardware-software integration from months down to days.

Traditional aerospace integration forces software teams to wait for physical hardware availability, leading to costly late-stage testing bottlenecks and schedule risk. Spacebackend addresses this with an AI-assisted engineering environment that digitizes complex Interface Control Documents (ICDs) into actionable, virtual simulation models. Infinite Orbits will use Lynapse for virtual integration, automated platform-agnostic code generation, and early simulation-based testing.

"This partnership marks a significant transition in how modern satellite missions are built, and it directly validates our team's vision for software-defined space readiness," said Yoav Landsman, COO and Managing Director of Spacebackend Luxembourg. "We want to thank Infinite Orbits for their trust in our technology. By decoupling software maturity from physical hardware constraints, we enable forward-thinking operators like Infinite Orbits to eliminate integration bottlenecks and mitigate mission risk early in the design cycle."

"From an engineering perspective, manual interface implementation has remained an industry bottleneck for far too long," said Dmitry Goldenberg, CEO of Spacebackend. "With Lynapse, we are giving engineers an observable, deterministic framework to prove their code works long before physical assembly begins."

The collaboration brings together two companies with strong roots in Luxembourg's growing space ecosystem, reinforcing a shared commitment to European space innovation.
